Pricing & Checkout
Sidebar: Sales → Plans and Pricing Tables
Module: Sales with Stripe — Plus and Prime.
FlyB lets you sell your own products and services through your own Stripe account. Money goes from your customer to your Stripe account directly. FlyB never holds your funds.
Checkout requires a paid FlyB plan and a connected Stripe account.
Connecting Stripe
Settings → Apps & Connections → Stripe → Connect with Stripe runs Stripe’s own authorisation flow. FlyB never sees your customers’ card details; Stripe processes every transaction.
One setting is worth understanding:
Register payments for products not created by FlyB. When it is off, only sales of plans and prices created inside FlyB are recorded — charges made in your Stripe account for anything else are ignored, and no contact, order or payment is created. Turn it on if you want FlyB to record everything that happens in your Stripe account.
Disconnecting Stripe stops you processing payments or managing subscriptions through FlyB.
Plans and prices
Sidebar: Sales → Plans
A plan is a product. It has a name, a description, an active switch, a display order, an optional “bestseller” flag, and a list of included features (each with a name, an optional description shown on hover, and an icon).
A plan carries one or more prices. Each price has:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Amount and currency | |
| Price type | Single, Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly |
| Percent off | Optional discount badge |
| Button text | Overrides the default wording on the pricing card |
The two-step editor
The editor is deliberately split.
Step 1 — Plan and prices. Everything above, saved in FlyB. Nothing here can be charged yet. On a plan that already exists the prices open collapsed, each showing only its amount, currency and type — click the arrow to open the one you want to edit. Add Price puts the new price at the top of the list, already open.
Step 2 — Stripe. Create the plan as a product in your Stripe account, then integrate each price. A price that does not exist in Stripe cannot be charged, and the list shows which are integrated and which are still pending.
An integrated price is locked. Stripe does not allow the amount, the currency or the recurrence of an existing price to change. To change any of them, archive the price (open it to reveal the button, at the bottom of the row next to its Stripe id) and create a new one. Archiving also deactivates it in Stripe, so it can no longer be used for new subscriptions — existing subscriptions on it are unaffected.
Plan details (name, description, features) can be updated on Stripe at any time.
A price can also be what a calendar charges before confirming a booking — see Calendars → Charging for bookings. Archiving a price a calendar charges makes that calendar’s booking page stop taking bookings until you pick another price in its editor.
Pricing tables
Sidebar: Sales → Pricing Tables
A pricing table is a presentation: a selection of plans and prices, in an order you choose, with a default colour.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Table name and description | |
| Plans / prices | One price per plan entry, in display order |
| Default table colour | |
| Show “Powered by FlyB” badge | The line under the table’s own page. On by default; removable on Plus and Prime |
| Thank you page URL | Where buyers land after a confirmed payment. Left empty, they see FlyB’s default thank-you page |
Where a pricing table can go
A saved table can be published in three ways. Deploy on the table’s row offers all three, and Share opens the public link on its own.
| Option | What it is |
|---|---|
| On a FlyB landing page | Pick the page and the table is added to it in one click |
| On an external site | Copy the embed code and paste it into any site |
| On its own page | A ready-made public page FlyB hosts for you — no site needed |
The table’s own page
Share gives you the address of a page that shows nothing but this table, with your company’s logo, name and colour above it. It works exactly like a standalone form: you can add UTM tags to the link, download its QR Code, and publish it under your own domain once one is configured under Settings → Custom Domain.
The page is not indexed by search engines — it is a link you hand out, not a page that competes with your site. Its browser tab and the preview a chat app shows for the link carry the table’s name and your company’s logo.
The page carries a discreet “Powered by FlyB” line under the plans: always on the Check-in (Free) plan, and until you switch off Show “Powered by FlyB” badge on Plus and Prime. A table embedded in a page or a site never shows it. See Plans, Flights & Limits.
Visits to it are counted in Analytics, and a sale that starts from it is attributed to the visit that produced it. A table embedded in a page records nothing of its own: the page it sits in is already counting that visit.
Checkout
When a visitor picks a price, FlyB opens Stripe’s secure checkout. On success:
- The transaction is processed by Stripe and the funds go to your Stripe account.
- A contact is created or merged in your base.
- An order and a payment are recorded — see Orders & Payments.
- Any entry event you configured for “Payment completed” or “Subscription created” places the contact in a CRM stage.
- The buyer is sent to your thank-you page, or to FlyB’s default one.
Checkout will refuse to open if the seller’s Stripe account is not fully configured, if the price does not exist in Stripe, or if the seller has no active FlyB plan.
Charging for an appointment
A calendar can sell one of your prices without a pricing table: the guest picks a time, the booking page opens the same Stripe checkout for the price the calendar charges, and the booking is confirmed when the payment is. The sale is recorded like any other — contact, order, payment — and the calendar’s own Payments section shows each checkout and where it stands.
Cost per sale
Depending on your FlyB plan, a completed sale may consume Flights. See Plans, Flights & Limits.
What FlyB is and is not, here
FlyB provides the storefront and the record-keeping. You are the merchant of record: your relationship with your buyer, your product, your refunds, your taxes, your consumer-law obligations. FlyB is not a party to that transaction. See Terms of Use → Selling through FlyB.
