Module: AI Creatives — Plus and Prime.

Turn a reference image and a short briefing into a short video with audio, sized for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.

This feature is available on paid plans, and it runs on your own OpenRouter account — not on FlyB credits. No Flights are charged.

How the billing works, and why it matters

You connect your own OpenRouter API key. Every generation is billed by OpenRouter directly to your account, at the model’s own price. FlyB adds no markup and charges no Flights.

Where your data goes. Your OpenRouter key is stored in your browser only — in a cookie scoped to this host — and every request goes straight from your browser to OpenRouter. The key, your briefing, your prompt and your reference images do not pass through FlyB’s servers, and FlyB does not store the generated video.

That also means FlyB has no control over, and no visibility into, how OpenRouter and the model providers behind it handle what you send. Read OpenRouter’s privacy policy before you send anything confidential, and see our own AI disclosure.

Step 1 — Connect your OpenRouter account

Paste your key (sk-or-v1-...). FlyB verifies it against OpenRouter and shows your remaining credit. Create a key on OpenRouter links to the right page if you do not have one.

The key is saved in this browser so you do not have to paste it again, and it is shared with the AI image generator — connect once, use both.

Step 2 — Pick the models

Two models are involved:

RoleWhat it does
Image analysisReads your reference frames, when there are any, and writes the scene prompt
Video generationGenerates the video

Only video models that generate audio are listed. Prices shown are per one million tokens, straight from OpenRouter; video pricing depends on too many variables to reduce to one number, so each model links to its own pricing page.

Your choice is saved for next time.

Step 3 — Video format

Only what the chosen model supports is offered: aspect ratio (chips show which platform each ratio is native to), duration and resolution.

Step 4 — Reference images

How the video is built depends on the model’s capabilities:

ModeResult
First frameThe video opens on this image and moves on from it
First + last frameIt opens on one image and ends on the other
Last frame onlyIt is built to end exactly on this image
No reference imageBuilt from the prompt alone

Images come from your photo gallery and are cropped to the ratio you chose. Changing the ratio clears the frames, because a crop that no longer fits is worse than no crop.

With no reference image, the ratio you picked is what shapes the video. With one, the ratio comes from the image.

Step 5 — Describe the scene

Two ways:

  • Write it with AI — describe what should happen (motion, camera, light, sound, spoken lines) and the image model turns it into a video prompt. The more concrete you are, the better the result.
  • I already have my prompt — paste your own text and skip the step.

Either way the prompt is editable, and the exact text on screen is what the video model receives. If you change the format, the images or the briefing afterwards, the screen warns you that the prompt is now out of step.

Step 6 — Generate

The summary panel shows every parameter and the reference prices before you confirm.

Generation takes a few minutes. Keep the tab open — an execution log reports each step, and if you leave and come back FlyB picks the tracking up again from the job stored in your browser. You can stop tracking, in which case the job keeps running on OpenRouter.

The result

When it finishes you can play it, open it in a new tab or download it.

Download it. The file is hosted by OpenRouter, only opens with your key, and the link may expire. The Recently generated list keeps the last few videos made in this browser, with the same caveat.

Starting over

Start a new video clears the format, frames, briefing, prompt and recent list. Your key and chosen models are kept.
